Thanks Dan. Always a pleasure to fly these motors. And they photograph very easily :) Those mach diamonds just jump out at you.

I just used about 10 times the epoxy to get that LED back in there. That won't be pulling out again.

I like that one for a silly reason - you can clearly see the LED light from the MARSA on the vent band :)

54mm 3 grain flights Plain Jane - Loki White (J820 star grain)

I flew my MAC 3" Villain twice yesterday. First on a 54/1050 EX load by Dan Patell, the second a Loki J820. The EX load was Bank 0, the Loki was Bank 1 The Plain Jane- https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1669/26342110910_a34697a259_b.jpg The Loki- https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1597/26009827884_4b843b...

Re: Mongoose 75FG

I agree, I was quite impressed with my Villain. :) viewtopic.php?f=8&t=82

I'm excited to see he's getting in some 54mm body tubes. Should be some interesting flights on 38/1200's

Re: Mongoose 75FG

Yea, it's a sad state of fiberglass rocketry. Service and quality are in the crapper. Madcow still has good service, and I've gotten good quality... but the designs don't always do it for me. Longer boosters, thicker fins, and full length slots would be nice.

Mongoose 75FG

So, after waiting and waiting (and pestering the shit out of Curtis) .... the mongoose is here. 5:1 VK nose, 24" payload, 48" booster. Some extra bits to make motor retention... I think I'll skip that part. Tubes came covered in dust. In the typical process of bathing the tubes to clean th...
