Re: Coating Liners??

When I first started doing my own motors one of the people in the mix party I was at was making some wimpy red and said he did it because the formula was dry enough to warrant doing that.(Later I was able to remedy this issue by adding .5% Lecithin to the mix) Then later I was told by Pat G. that m...

Re: What have you been up to?

Dan, I don't know how much 200 AP Dutch has left but you could give him a call. Using a Stratologger to gauge vacuum -----Way Cool. It's a pretty terrible gauge, hah. I didn't want to pull a full vacuum on it, either, hence the 28,000' reading. The Stratologger test was more for the altimeter than ...

Re: Giving this a shot....

Looking at trying some of Dan's Plain Jane to start.... After that, not sure. Mike- requested access now, I missed that email somehow. I have a spreadsheet you sent out, and a few other things. Long term I'd like to try a green, but that's a ways out. Dave Be careful with Barium, It is very toxic. ...

Re: Issues with Voids

What vacuum pump would you recommend? I've tried the Harbor Freight models and they performed pretty poorly, as expected. I personally have a Robinair 15500 5CFM. You will likely use this pump for vacuum bagging or larger bowls of propellant, so buy a nice one. I have used the HF single and duel st...

Tech Tip

Quite often people mix there curative to long or to short. If you are using Iron Oxide or Carbon Black Etc, Add it last
with your curative. When it is well mixed in so is your curative.
Hint- Mix With Curative and then into fuel mix.
