What to do?

Postby Alexander » Sat Dec 26, 2015 10:08 pm

I have this lovely 54mm carbon tube that I've had for some time. It was on my to sell list, but I need more rockets in my collection. Problem is I dont know what to do with it. I thought it was best to ask you guys, whether to turn it into a minimum diameter or into a usual dual deployment with smaller motor mount sport flyer. Your input is appreciated.

Do you have your L2? Make a 38mm motor mount sport flyer with it, get your L2 on a J350 and keep it in your collection for a while.

I was going to use my Mariah 54 for my level 2, but I think it would be best to have this one as a back up.

Thank you for the feedback.

Mariah 54 as an L2 is pretty badass. Pretty crazy, but badass.

This on a 6 grain J would still be an impressive L2 and a bit easier.

Sport flyer it is. I'll think of a design later on.

Want that 38mm tube back? I cut it, I can measure what the lengths are and let you know. You pay shipping and it's yours.

Going to need at least 15". Keep it saved for me as I am in the process of managing my money to make an oven. I'll be experimenting with prepregs in the following year.

Okay so let me say that I sold this tube since I recently left my job and in the process of finding another. In the mean time I needed to get some extra money to have as I look for another job.

Not to worry though, once I get back on my feet I will make another tube and continue this build.
