so that go me thinking, and of course it meant another Optima. :) This one may actually become a shadow, not sure yet. We'll see.

Apogee has 2x29 CR's for loc sized 29mm tubes... obviously blue tube won't fit, so I chopped them up and sanded them. the idea is to add some t nuts for retention.

Thinking mostly just little pop F52T hobbyline motors for now. might get crazy someday, but too much else going on to really push this one. For now, just a fun "blowing off steam" type flier.

Drilled holes for the T nuts, and epoxied them in place. Tacked one moon CR in place with 5 minute, will coat both sides with aeropoxy later.

I cut down and evened up the motor tubes. Then I decided I didn't want to fit the upper CR. So there won't be one. The harness is epoxied in half with 4500, half with aeropoxy.
The aeropoxy was applied to the inside of the body tube and the top side of the CR. The motor tubes contact firmly up the the body tube walls, so that will be a good solid joint. Once this cures, I'll add some more epoxy to the lower side of the CR, and sand the tubes flush.
