MAC Performance Rocketry

Postby mike2wander » Mon Nov 09, 2015 10:40 pm

WHAT'S IN YOUR ROCKET?

It's great to be at the Rocketry Spot, and Thank You Dan for all the hard work it took to make it happen.
As we approach the end of our first season, I also would like to thank everyone for the tremendous support we are receiving. Our latest release ETHOS has been a hit and we plan to do it again! In the next couple weeks we will be releasing one more kit, along with kit upgrades and accessories.

I'm having a bit of an issue seeing how a screw closure works with e-match leads that I need to get out of the compartment. Yeah, you can do the reverse twist method but that's a pain in the rear. Could file out a notch on each side of the compartment threads and lay the e-match lead in there and then will have to seal the slot, but that's normal anyway... I guess I might just have to buy a couple to test.

Pretty sure most of us are just stuffing trackers in these noses. DD for most MAC kits is the typical mid-body deal.

Yeah, I have a Lil' Rascal with a 5:1 Pinnacle nose cone that I have to rebuild. It utilizes a tether so I have e-match needs for the nose cone. After considering during the BF sale, I decided to pass on the 4" for this guy. Instead I just picked up the 3" version to match up with the Scorpion I purchased for typical tracking application.

If you affix the sled to the cap, spinning doesn't matter. The wires, altimeter, and cap rotate in unison.

Just wanted to provide some positive feedback. I received my MAC Performance Black Friday shipment (Scorpion and NC bay) in record time--one business day :o. Thanks a ton Mike!
